Survey report on “CO2-Mitigation in land-use and forestry”

Survey on opportunities to protect the climate, mitigate CO2, and sequest carbon in the areas of land-use, land-use change and forestry (LULUCF). The report assessed possible measures regarding their CO2-mitigation potentials, costs, methodological challenges, and potential impacts on sustainable development. Incorporating the national and international debate on LULUCF, the report recommends political measures to the German parliament for an integrated and long-term approach to mitigating CO2 in the land-use and forestry sector.
