Training on emissions trading

SiNERGi conducted trainings on emissions trading for participants from developing countries and emerging economies in Beijing, Madrid, Costa Rica and Dublin. The trainings, which lasted two weeks, were conducted on behalf of GIZ and in cooperation with Ecologic within the framework of the International Carbon Action Partnership (ICAP) and funded by the European Commission. They offered an introduction to the economics of emissions trading and an overview of existing emissions trading schemes, and discussed crucial design elements of a trading scheme in-depth.
